Vision
The vision of the
Vinton Area Chamber of Commerce is to empower the business community in
order to create a vibrant suburban town atmosphere for all residents of
Vinton and surrounding communities.
Mission
The mission of the
Vinton Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote a healthy business
environment for the Town of Vinton. The Chamber takes a leadership role
in researching, addressing and resolving critical issues impacting area
business owners. The Chamber improves the business and community
environment in order to create a more profitable and dynamic atmosphere
for all.
Join Us for Our Networking and
Marketing Events--
Membership
Breakfast or Lunch Meetings in 2011
We plan to have either one lunch or breakfast membership meeting each
month. Breakfast is from 8:00 am-9:30 am and lunch is from 11:30 – 1:00 pm.
Enjoy breakfast or lunch, take advantage of networking opportunities and
hear an informative speaker sponsored by a
chamber member. We encourage a large turnout for
face-to-face networking
opportunities. At our ‘Share n Tell’ membership meetings,
members are invited to give a ‘elevator talk’ about their business.
Membership is invited to bring their business cards, brochures and any
advertising materials to share at every meeting. The cost for
breakfast or lunch is $12.00 for
chamber members / $15.00 for non-members, with the chamber covering the balance of the cost of the
venue, either at Woodland Place or the Vinton War Memorial and catered
food. Sponsorship opportunities are welcome for this event. If you are a
sponsor for this event, you will be given podium time as well as your
logo on all promotional materials, signage at the event,
our Facebook page and web site.
Business
Seminar/Workshop in 2011
We plan to have one seminar/workshop each quarter. These will be
informative presentations for our membership. These can be scheduled for
early morning and combined with a continental breakfast or mid-morning
and combined with a light lunch. If you are a sponsor of this event,
your company logo will be used on all promotional materials to advertise
the event, signage at the event, our Facebook page and web site.
Membership
Extravaganza – Winter and Fall 2011
The Membership Committee of the chamber plans and executes this
bi-annual event to promote and retain chamber membership. This event
usually culminates in a week of phone calls to over 600 businesses. The
contact made with these businesses brings about awareness of the
chamber’s role and purpose in the local business community.
Chamber recognition and appreciation is given for the volunteer’s
efforts. Chamber member companies are asked to supply promotional
marketing items for our "goodie bags" which will be delivered to all new
and prospective members.
The Vinton
Image Magazine 2011
A Chamber publication that not only provides an extensive Membership
Directory but also educates the readers about the history of Vinton and
the strong leadership roles that local business play in our community.
This publication is supported by advertising. Shelf life is about 1
year; circulation of 5,000.

Our highly visited website focuses on providing information for new
people and businesses to the area as well as a great reference web site
for current chamber members.

For new or remodeled chamber member businesses - photo and press
release for the local media and Chamber newsletter.

Bi-monthly newsletter with current information and events from the
Chamber; emailed to our membership, community members
and media.

Chamber Quarterly Printed Newsletter
Quarterly printed newsletter with current information and events from
the chamber which is mailed to membership, community members and media.
You may pay to put your 8.5 x 11 insert - provide 250 copies to
us for $30. or run inside the newsletter a 1/2 pg ad for $75; 1/4 pg ad
$50; or bus card size ad $25.

This program provides a way for our members to share discounts with
fellow chamber members;
an excellent way to introduce your company’s products or services to our
membership.

Every day referrals of Chamber members are given to those interested in

these inquiries.
