Our first question has to do with Vinton Revitalization. What stores and services would you like to see available in Vinton that are not here?

Did you notice the changes that Jeff Janney at Vinton Appliance is making to his building? I think he is replacing about 10-12 windows, adding decorative molding above the windows and getting a new awning. It’s going to look fantastic. He’s participating in the Town’s Facade Progam.
It’s a shame that Sonny Arrington at A+ Price Is Right Auto Parts & Supplies on Walnut Avenue didn’t get to participate. He’s done a great job renovating his property. He got a new roof, painted the building, resurfaced the parking lot and added some great landscaping. He even found a great lamp post which he refurbished. Take a look the next time you drive by.
