Somewhere you can get a steak and a bottle of wine and although the check might be over $100 for 2, you walk out with no regrets. (Think The Library on Franklin Rd.) A real, honest to goodness, local coffee shop. (Think Daily Grind on 419 in Southwest County or Mill Mountain Coffee, not Starbucks.) Something with built in wireless, ambiance and a place for the 30 and unders or the business person to "hang out" while still being productive. A movie theatre. Doesn't need to have 8,12 or 16 screens, just 2, maybe 4. Imagine the revenue that would bring in just from the people in Vinton alone! I know this one won't be popular, but a sports bar/place to go to watch boxing, MMA, racing, wrestling, baseball....just sports. Something that keeps people in town on Friday and Saturdays instead of going to downtown Roanoke. A mid- to high level dining establishment.
